7.30 a.m. - Departure in front of your hotel for the Cross Forest. Enjoy one unforgettable trip to a special for all orthodox christians place. In the mid 17th century a monastery was built there, known back then as “Troitzkia” among thick beech forests. Today the complex consists of two churches “Cerement of Virgin Mary” and the “Holy Trinity”, as well as 15 chapels. Free time in the area. On the way back we will visit the medieval Bachkovo Monastery. Drive back to Sofia in the evening.
